Valorant queue disabled is a message that can be a frustrating experience for fans of Riot Games' latest first-person shooter game. Here's everything you need to know about what's causing the issue.
Valorant Queue Disabled: What's Causing the Issue
Players have been getting the Valorant queue is disabled message in the Valorant client since the game started its closed beta in early April, as the game has gone through new updates, including the implementation of Valorant Patch 0.47+ earlier this morning.
Fortunately for players, the message will only appear when Riot Games has taken the servers down to do scheduled maintenance or to update the game. If players attempt to queue for a Valorant match during these windows, they'll be greeted by either an infinite loading screen, every agent locked in the selection screen, or the map loading screen on an endless loop
If you run into any of these issues in the Valorant client, there is only one known solution and that is to wait until the scheduled server maintenance is complete and the servers are back online. Players can get updated information regarding Valorant downtime through Valorant's Twitter feed. This can help players avoid queuing up for matches as the servers are going down to be patched or updated.
The latest update occurred during the morning hours of April 22 in North America and the late night hours of April 21 for servers in Europe. According to a tweet from Riot Games, the North American servers will be back up for players to use at 1 p.m ET. While the European servers ran into an issue and are going through a partial reboot in an attempt to fix the issue with no estimate on how long it will take.
