Warzone 2 Dead Drop Locations: How to Do XP Glitch

The Dead Drop locations in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 have been gaining plenty of attention within the community in recent days because of newly discovered XP glitch.

For those wondering what the glitch is and how to do it, here's a breakdown of the Dead Drop locations in Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 Dead Drop XP Glitch Patched

As mentioned earlier, the Dead Drop XP glitch was popularized in recent days by many content creators such as JGOD.

Since then, however, the glitch has been confirmed to be patched.

The glitch itself exploited the use of trading in-game cash for weapon XP at Dead Drops, which is similar to the Armor Plate and Most Wanted Contract exploits that were also patched shortly after the launch of Warzone 2.

In DMZ, Dead Drops are intended to be a way for players to simply trade some of their extra in-game cash to lower their insured weapon cooldowns, which typically last upwards of 72 hours. As shown in the graphic shared by u/OnYxSireen on Reddit, there are six different Dead Drop dumpsters that can be found across Al Mazrah.

This, coupled with another glitch that allows players to instantly collect hundreds of thousands of in-game cash at a time, made for a pretty broken XP glitch. Players only needed to have at least a Medium or Large Backpack and an AI-dropped, gold-bordered weapon to be able to max-level multiple weapons in single matches.

Ultimately, for those who did miss out on this XP glitch, it does appear that it may only be a matter of time until another is found, considering how many bugs continue to plague the game. Of course, it is perhaps no surprise that the devs continue to patch these methods as soon as they can, considering it is in their best interest for players to hop into Modern Warfare II to unlock and level up guns.
