Warzone 2 TAQ-56 Build: Best Attachments to Use
By Max Mallow
Warzone 2 TAQ-56 builds are becoming to the go-to when it comes to assault rifles.
The TAQ-56, otherwise known as the SCAR by the Call of Duty community because of its appearance, in Modern Warfare 2 is a popular assault rifle with high damage, solid recoil control and fire rate. The TAQ-56 was already a popular weapon in the competitive scene, but it is quickly becoming a must-have for loadouts in Warzone 2.
Most players would just transition their competitive builds to Warzone given how comfortable the weapon feels at most ranges, but battle royale brings a different environment. Players want more recoil control and larger magazines.
Warzone 2 TAQ-56 Build: Best Attachments to Use
Here are the best attachments to run on the TAQ-56 in Warzone 2:
- Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp or Sakin Tread-40
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Stock: Tactical Brute Stock
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
One of the benefits of the TAQ-56 is the iron sight configuration. Similar to the SCAR in previous COD titles, the TAQ-56 allows players to maintain target acquisition at multiple ranges. If players find themselves struggling at long range fights, an optic attachment in exchange for the 40 Round Mag is a fine alternative. Players won't want to compromise much else considering how popular it is to reduce high rates of recoil in Warzone titles.
Players can also individually tune specific weapon attachments to their liking depending on playstyle. Call of Duty world champion and content creator, Tyler "TeePee" Polchow, detailed his specific tuning setup in a Twitter video below.
