Call of Duty (COD): Warzone lead developer, Raven Software, is working hard to eliminate the bugs following their latest patch.

Raven Software appears committed to doing right by Warzone players by identifying and fixing every major issue following the patch released just days prior on Feb. 5. Since taking the lead on the game, Raven has been comfortingly vocal about the issues taken under its wing, including links to the company's Trello board and tweeting out updates concerning fixes whenever possible. This, of course, includes the major problem with hit markers.

Here's what we know about bugged-out hit markers in Warzone.

Warzone Hit Marker Issues Being Examined Following Feb. 5 Patch

For those unaware, "hit markers" are the indicators used to denote damage done to other players. Some of these appear to not be recording or displaying properly, causing major ire to players who downloaded the patch.

Raven was quick to tweet out an acknowledgment of the error from their Twitter profile just hours after release, Feb. 5. It is currently marked in orange as "Investigating" on its Trello.

Warzone's crusade against the bugs in its coding is nothing new. There have been several problems to crop up in the game since its release under Infinity Ward in March 2020. This recent issue is only the latest in a string of near game-breaking items to inconsistently appear at players' feet. The broken hit markers appear to be affecting all platforms, however, so it's certain that sections from each are experiencing frustration.

Players were quick to express their displeasure at the bug via social media. The replies to Raven's tweet were filled with other bugs in need of attention or impatient demands for a fix. Some voiced pity for the company about having the Warzone "dumped" in their lap by Activision, commending Raven's swift action as proof of their superiority over previous teams.

There is currently no fix published at the time of writing.
