Our Warzone Pacific Season 1 SMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With there being over 40 new weapons for Warzone players to use thanks to the Call of Duty: Vanguard integration, as well as Raven's latest weapon balance pass going through, it's no question that the meta has been flipped on its head once again. As such, here are the best SMGs to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1.

As shown by this list, the SMG meta has been shaken up quite a lot, to say the least. While the best "SMG" in the game might actually be the Cooper Carbine assault rifle, these four options have also proven to be supreme options for close-range fights thanks to their above-par packages of fire rate, damage, handling, and mobility.

A Tier

  • PPSh-41 (BOCW)
  • M1912
  • Owen Gun
  • MAC-10
  • MP5 (BOCW)
  • Bullfrog
  • Milano 821
  • MP5 (MW)

In A Tier are eight SMGs that are quite good up close, but generally won't outpace the aforementioned S-Tier options. Here, the M1912 "Tommy Gun" and Owen Gun join a lot of the former S Tier SMGs, including both versions of the MP5 which unfortunately received hefty nerfs from Raven.

B Tier

  • TEC-9
  • LAPA
  • MP7
  • CX-9
  • AK-74u
  • AUG (MW)
  • Fennec

In the B Tier are SMGs that remain solid, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the new Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

  • Uzi
  • PP19 Bizon
  • ISO
  • P90
  • Nail Gun
  • Sten
  • LC10

In C Tier are seven options that are simply mediocre. In the case of the Sten, the gun was already average, but inexplicably received new nerfs from Raven, making it a clear Vanguard weapon to avoid leveling up.

D Tier

  • KSP 45
  • Striker 45

Lastly, in D Tier are two SMGs that have been behind in the pack far too long. Don't bother using them as they truly need major buffs in order to be viable.
