Our Warzone Pacific Season 2 SMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

In addition to the introduction of armored war machines and chemical weapons, Raven's latest weapon balance pass was one of the largest in Warzone history, undoubtedly flipping the meta on its head once again. As such, here are the best SMGs to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 SMG Tier List

S Tier

• Owen Gun
• LAPA
• Welgun
• MP-40
• PPSh-41 (VG)
• OTs 9

In the S Tier are six SMGs that have established themselves as ahead of the rest of the pack. While the MP-40 remains by far the most popular weapon to use across Warzone and Vanguard at the moment, those who take the time to main the Owen Gun, LAPA and Welgun might find themselves having even more success. Meanwhile, the OTs 9 and Vanguard PPSh-41 have certainly dropped drastically in popularity but have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

• Sten

• Type 100
• MAC-10

In A Tier are four SMGs that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive.

B Tier

• MP5 (BOCW)
• Milano 821
• MP5 (MW)
• Bullfrog
• PPSh-41 (BOCW)
• TEC-9
• MP7
• LC10
• CX-9
• AK-74u
• AUG (MW)
• Fennec

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the new Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

• Uzi
• PP19 Bizon
• ISO
• P90
• Nail Gun

In C Tier are five options that are simply mediocre and definitely need a buff in Warzone. An unfortunate, but telling sign of the times is that even in the new Warzone Pacific era, all of these guns as well as the ones below it, save for the Nail Gun, are all from Modern Warfare.

D Tier

• KSP 45
• Striker 45

Lastly, in D Tier are two SMGs that have been behind in the pack for far too long. Don't bother using them as they truly need major buffs in order to be viable.
