Our Warzone Pacific SMG tier list for April 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Season Two Reloaded.

With the Season 2 Reloaded patch, not only did we get the new Armaguerra 43, but we also saw some changes made to a couple of options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the SMG weapon class stacks up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded in April 2022.

Warzone Pacific April 2022 SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are seven SMGs that have established themselves as decently ahead of the rest of the pack. While the MP-40 remains the most popular weapon to use across Warzone and Vanguard at the moment, those who take the time to main the Owen Gun might find themselves having even more success. Like the Vargo 52, the Owen Gun is not only the best weapon in its weapon class to fill the traditional SMG role, but is elite as a sniper support option as well. The Milano 821 remains to be an exceptional sniper support option. Although Raven did make the Welgun harder to use since it was such a devastating weapon, it's still one of the better options in the game. Meanwhile, the Type 100, LAPA and Vanguard PPSh-41 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are seven SMGs that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The Armaguerra 43, Black Ops Cold War MP5, OTs 9 and Sten especially remain right behind those in S Tier, as they are still great options for those comfortable using them.

B Tier

CX-9

  • MP5 (MW)
  • AUG (MW)
  • LC10
  • CX-9
  • PPSh-41 (BOCW)
  • TEC-9
  • MP7
  • AK-74u
  • PP19 Bizon

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the new Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

  • Uzi
  • Fennec
  • ISO
  • P90
  • Nail Gun
  • KSP 45
  • Striker 45

Whether it's as a close range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
