The Season Two Reloaded patch has just arrived in Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing with it the largest update ever seen for Rebirth Island.

Initially making its debut in 2018 with Black Ops 4's Blackout battle royale mode, players have seen Rebirth Island emerge as a staple addition of Warzone since December 2020.

With a year of "internal and external feedback" to dig from, developer studio Beenox has now "rebuilt, redefined and reinforced" Rebirth Island with multiple point of interest changes, new enhanced lighting and more in hopes of both celebrating the map’s history and offering new experiences for players. Here's a breakdown of all of the new POIs added to Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 Reloaded.

Stronghold

The first of these is a new POI called Stronghold, which, as the name of the event implies, appears to be a reinforced version of the often-deserted Security Area POI. With more buildings and loot, an extended checkpoint gate, a new radar building and a Redeploy Balloon, it definitely seems like there will be more incentive for players to drop here moving forward. These additions all offer verticality and opportunities for better rotations, close-quarter engagements and exploration.

Docks

Right next to Control Center is a brand-new POI called Docks. The new name for Shore, Docks has a new concrete platform that connects the old helipad dock to another one underneath some of the island’s battlements. Between that are construction materials, shipping containers, a crane, and a gangplank onto the new ship.

Additionally, right next to Docks is one of two new ships on the sides of Rebirth Island, with the other bordering Nova 6 Factory. These Perseus supply vessels are said to have an open main deck, a partially accessible supply area closer to sea level, an extensive accommodation section and two masts — a foremast and a mizzenmast — that can be climbed. Items and Supply Boxes tend to drop all around the ships except on the masts, which mostly serve as lookout points. For the Docks’ case, the masts’ height is nearly level with the top of the Control Center. The masts on both ships counter their naturally low-lying position on the water. Know the danger of climbing up the unprotected sides of the mast before getting to these positions; otherwise, those on the shore can easily pick you off.

Prison Courtyard

The last new POI and major change to Rebirth Island is a reconstruction of the Prison Courtyard. Before, the yard could be seen as a death trap — an open space with little to no cover, even on top of the wall surrounding it. With Rebirth Reinforced, there are now cover pieces and green tents within the Courtyard, a refortified wall complete with guard stations, and a walkway that fully wraps around to a repainted water tower. This walkway adds an additional platform level toward the bottom of that notorious structure and connects it to the prison steps area using existing concrete pathways.

Aside from these additions, Beenox emphasized that players may find some new jumps, ladders and slight tweaks that can completely change how they navigate around this section of the Prison Block.
