Warzone Season 6 assault rifle tier list is here to ensure you're playing with the best available loadout.

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone is now live on all platforms, and there are some noticeable changes from the previous season. In addition to the map changes, a seasonal event titled The Haunting was announced for Oct. 20, it will be the first seasonal event of Modern Warfare and could be the previously rumored night mode.

With any new season, it is paramount to sort out the order of weapons in order to maximize loadouts. Here is DBLTAP's tier list for Season 6 assault rifles.

S-Tier

Grau 5.56

The Grau is the number one assault rifle in Warzone. Regardless of the fact that it has been nerfed from its initial dominance, it's still the top pick for AR's. The fact remains that range is king in Verdansk and that's where the Grau separates. The recommendation is an extended mag and to kit the Grau out for range in order to control fights from distance. Here's the Grau 5.56 Warzone guide.

FAL

Opposite from the Grau 5.56, the FAL received a massive damage buff during Season 4 which took its abilities to new heights. Though the FAL is a semi-automatic assault rifle, the rate of fire is still high enough to be an effective AR. Close-range damage was nerfed during Season 5 but the FAL was never meant for close-range dominance anyways, pair this one with an SMG.

A-Tier

Oden

Power is the name of the game for the Oden. Boasting the highest damage rate of all fully-automatic weapons in Warzone, the Oden packs a punch. It has a low fire rate and high recoil, which is why it's not higher on the list. Kit out for recoil with an extended mag and enjoy the Oden.

M13

A polar opposite from the Oden, the M13 isn't a power-puncher, but more of a volume producer. It has a ridiculous fire rate which makes it effective but the real draw of the M13 is the low recoil. Make note that the M13 will need to be kitted out for range because it suffers from serious damage dropoff.

CR-56 AMAX

The CR-56 AMAX is a pretty well-rounded assault rifle, it has respectable stats across the board, but maybe nothing that jumps off the page. Where it does seem to have a bit of a weakness is in the reload speed department, wherever you rank the importance of that. Make sure to kit out for range to give yourself every advantage and you should have a very dependable AR.

B-Tier

AS VAL

Making its debut in Season 6 of Warzone, the AS VAL has some very impressive statistics. It has a lightning-quick fire rate and yet still an impressive damage profile. The reason for its lower ranking is the magazine size and recoil. Missed shots can be deadly mistakes with this AR.

Kilo 141

The Kilo 141 is essentially a poor-mans Grau 5.56. Its stats are very similar, but lesser, in virtually every category. The redeeming qualities for the Kilo 141 are its attachments, 100 Round Drum Mags are one of the most unique attachments in all of Verdansk.

C-Tier

M4A1

Rounding out the list is the M4A1. This gun is simply past its prime, and that is due to the nerfs that have taken away from its abilities. It's still a powerful AR and offers optimal iron sights, but make no mistake about it, this assault rifle has seen better days.
