February will be a month full of SMG domination in Call of Duty: Warzone. While they lack the range to be effective at distance, this class of weapon is almost always chosen as a the go-to secondary for causal and competitive players alike. We've compiled a list consisting of SMGS we expect to see dominate this month across Verdansk based on performance.

Warzone SMG Tier List February 2021

1. S-Tier: Mac-10

  • Mac-10

The Mac-10 is the only SMG of its kind. It out plays all other SMGs, and may be the only SMG in S-Tier across all Warzone weapons. High fire rate, ADS, and mobility make this weapon both a great primary or secondary no matter which weapon is its counterpart. While it doesn't necessarily do the most damage, it will continue to be the primary SMG of choice for its performance.

2. A-Tier: Great Picks

  • Bullfrog
  • MP5 (Cold War)
  • MP5 (Modern Warfare)
  • MP7
  • Fennec
  • AK-74U
  • P90

The Modern Warfare MP5 will continue to be a reliable weapon, but its reload time, movement speed, and rate of fire are holding it back from being the S-Tier weapon. The Cold War MP5 excels where its MW version fall short, but at the cost of damage output.

The Bullfrog's high damage output, accuracy, mobility, and magazine capacity make it a threat up close. The end of January saw an increase in this weapon's usage, and that trend will continue as players look towards variety and lethality in their loadouts.

The Fennec, AK-74U, P90, and MP7 all make great counterparts to both snipers and assault rifles. They may not be as popular as their tier mates, but they are all strong options to use.

3. B-Tier: Great For Ground Loot

  • Bizon
  • Striker 45
  • Uzi
  • Milano 821
  • AUG

The major draw back of these weapons is their recoil patterns or fire rate. Weapon attachments don't particularly make a huge improvement, as they either become more mobile at the cost of accuracy or more accurate at the cost of mobility. A good SMG needs both, and arguably these make better ground loot weapons with little-to-no attachments.

4. C-Tier: Earned and Unfounded

  • ISO
  • KSP 45

The ISO has earned its place as a C-Tier weapon for Warzone. Its low damage, low fire rate, and poor SMG mobility don't make it a reliable option when trying to take down fully plated players.

The KSP 45 might be a sleeper weapon. With so many SMGs in play already, it's hard to get an accurate reading on where this weapon truly belongs. For now, with the lack of players using it, it belongs in C-Tier.
