Forza Horizon 5 is nearly a month away, and developer Playground Games has officially unveiled the requirements for players on PC. Here are the specs for Forza Horizon 5 on PC.
The specs required to play this racing game consists of three categories: Minimum Specs, Recommended Specs, and Ideal Specs. Minimum Specs allow for basic gameplay with good performance, and Recommended Specs are for those who want a good and smooth gaming experience. However, to experience the entirety of what Forza Horizon 5 has to offer in terms of silky-smooth gameplay and stunning visuals, the Ideal Specs must be met.

- CPU: Intel i5-8400 | AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070 | AMD Radeon RX 590
- VRAM: 8GB
- RAM: 16GB
- HDD Space: 110GB
Ideal Specs
- Operating System: Windows 10 (w/1909 Update)
- CPU: Intel i7-10700K | AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080 | AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
- VRAM: 10GB | 16GB
- RAM: 16GB
- HDD Space: 110GB (SSD required)
This time around, the studio touts that the game has immense graphical and visual capabilities for those with beefy enough computers to handle it. Things like 4K visuals, uncapped frame rates, and compatibility for 21:9 monitors are placed front and center for builds that can handle it. But the game is capable of downscaling all the flash and glimmer for those who just want to play with what they have.
As always, it’s encouraged to play PC games with their recommended specs, as playing on minimum often results in game hiccups and low-quality graphics. With what a game like Forza Horizon 5 has to offer, it’s only right that the game is played the way it’s meant to be.
Forza Horizon 5 will release on November 5 on Xbox consoles, in addition to PC releases on Steam and Game Pass PC.
