When Does Fortnitemares 2022 Start?
As we move into the spooky season, Fortnite players are hoping for the return of Fortnitemares. Here's what we know.
Fortnite has no shortage of spooky, Halloween-inspired Outfits and cosmetics for players to get their hands on, and what better time to celebrate them than in the month of October. Many Fortnite players are waiting to see if Fortnitemares will be returning in 2022, and which Outfits and cosmetics will be up for grabs.

Last year, players were able to grab two Outfits from the Universal Monsters Set — Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy. As the weeks went on, more characters and Outfits made their Item Shop debut, including The Walking Dead's Rick Grimes, Spacefarer Ariana Grande, and more.
So, when do the celebrations kick-off this year?
When Does Fortnitemares 2022 Start?
On Oct. 1, Epic Games tweeted via the Fortnite account that Fortnitemares would be returning on Oct. 18. Though for now, we don't quite know what the event will include.

Known Fortnite leaker HYPEX has been vocal about the return of Fortnitemares. Just a few days ago, they tweeted that more leaks for the event could be on the way. Certain Halloween Community skins have begun surfacing, too.
