Gamers are wondering about when the new Call of Duty will come out.

With Vanguard's release back in late 2021, there have been lots of rumors regarding the next installment of the Call of Duty series. These rumors were fueled by many as the reviews for Vanguard were quite mixed. While some believed Vanguard to be a great game, others found it to be one of the worst installments yet.

Here's everything that players need to know about the new Call of Duty release date.

When Does the New Call of Duty Come Out?

Led by Infinity Ward, the new Call of Duty is set to release sometime in 2022. Even though not much is known about the game, it appears that Call of Duty 2022 is a sequel to Modern Warfare 2019, and it's being designed with a new Warzone experience. This means that this next game will be using the same title of the previous game. Ultimately, the story will be inspired by the original, rather than a retelling of the same events.

Although the exact date is not officially confirmed, many have speculated that the game will release in early November 2022. This is due to the fact that a new Call of Duty game typically releases around this time.

On top of that, there have been more rumors surrounding the game after Call of Duty 2022. Many are suggesting that the game will return to the Black Ops series and that the game will not release in 2023, leaving Call of Duty 2022 a full two-year cycle for fans to enjoy.
