Where is Sogen Ghost of Tsushima? How to Find the Monk

Where is Sogen Ghost of Tsushima will be important to complete one of the early story quests in the game. A lot of players are having trouble finding Sogen to advance the quest.

During The Tale of Masako, you'll be tasked with looking for a monk named Sogen. He's cleaning the floors at one of the pagodas, but the temple is quite large and the monks are fairly generic. Which one is Sogen?

Where is Sogen Ghost of Tsushima?

Sogen isn't at the large pagoda like you might expect. He's actually at the building directly left of the head monk you spoke to. Right when you enter the temple, veer left and you'll find Sogen cleaning at the corner of the building.

Once you've spoken to Sogen, you can return to Lady Masako to continue with the quest.

This won't be the last you'll see of Sogen, as he's a fairly important character for Masako's story quests. He tries to be unassuming, and your difficulty in picking him out of the crowd is exactly what he wants.

If you were on a snipe chase looking for Sogen, you might have explored the entire Golden Temple before finding him. There's merchants of all sorts to help you on your journey, and be sure you don't miss the Hot Spring nearby before advancing your quest.
