Fans will only find Chargers in Helldivers 2 once they unlock medium difficulty. The hostile enemies are not in the trivial and easy modes. Reaching medium difficulty is fairly simple—players must complete at least one Operation in trivial and easy to progress to medium.

Once you unlock and play through medium difficulty, you will encounter a Charger (if you are unlucky, you will encounter multiple Chargers) on your new missions. Chargers are heavily armored, making them much more of a challenge than any of the creatures you face in the lower difficulties.

Fortunately, there are several tips and tricks to defeat Chargers in Helldivers 2 for players of all skill levels. Your fellow Helldivers are the biggest advantage you have against the creatures. With the firepower of four players, you will be able to kill the Charger, especially if you focus on hitting its weak spots.

The quickest way to defeat a Charger is by targeting its underside and backside. Shooting its legs and body will not do much to weaken the enemy; after all, they are heavily covered with armor. Instead, have your teammates distract the Charger while you get around the creature to target its backside.

Finally, do your best to attack from a decent distance away. The closer you get, the more likely you are to be overwhelmed by the monster. Get ready to unleash your Machine Gun on the Charger, and use as many explosives as you can to eliminate the threat.
