Where to Find Guts' Dragon Slayer Sword in Elden Ring
Anime and fantasy action RPG fans alike have been eating real good lately thanks to the highly-acclaimed launch of Elden Ring in recent weeks.
Being that FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki was heavily influenced by Kentaro Miura’s Magnum Opus manga, Berserk, Elden Ring invites players to go and get the Black Swordsman's signature Dragon Slayer Sword for themselves in-game. Here's a breakdown of how to find Guts' Dragon Slayer Sword and add it to your arsenal in Elden Ring.
How to Get the Greatsword
Guts' Dragon Slayer Sword is located in Caelid, and is obtained by looting the chest in the abandoned caravan on the Dragonbarrow road that leads south toward the Cathedral of Dragon Communion. There two giant zombie dogs will be guarding it, so you'll need to take them down first.
Ultimately, Guts' Dragon Slayer Sword isn't specifically named so in Elden Ring, as it simply goes by Greatsword instead.
Nevertheless, it does great service to the manga as it's an extremely powerful weapon in-game, as well as takes on the signature look and silhouette of the iconic massive sword.
Here's the Greatsword's official description in Elden Ring, which not-so-subtly pays homage to Berserk:
A coarse iron lump of an ultra greatsword. Mows down foes by utilizing its incredible weight. Though handling it likely requires the wielder to have surpassed the realm of the merely human, it is precisely for this reason the weapon is used to slaughter even inhuman foes.

The Greatsword is an especially great get for Strength-based builds, as it requires 31 Strength and 12 Dexterity to simply wield it.
Additionally, it's classified as a normal weapon, so you can upgrade it just by using regular Smithing Stones.
