Where to Get the Lion's Claw Skill in Elden Ring
The Lion's Claw Skill is a favorite among players opting for massive Strength builds. This Skill allows players to execute a somersault attack, flipping forward to slam their weapon down full force into whatever enemy stands in their way. This attack is prized for the poise it bestows on players during the attack animation — which makes it all but impossible to interrupt — and for the amount of poise damage it deals with enemies, staggering just about every enemy in the game.
Although the skill is the default on the Claymore, which is relatively easy to find, most players won't find its Ash of War until later in the game. Once they do, they'll be able to apply the skill to the weapon of their choosing.
Finding the Lion's Claw at Fort Gael
As its name suggests, to get the Lion's Claw you'll need to kill a Lion Guardian. Specifically, you'll have to hunt down the one guarding Fort Gael, which you'll find along the west edge of Caelid. It's hard to miss — just scan the horizon from the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace and you should see it to the south.
To get into the Fort, you'll have to head right of the locked front gate and drop off a wooden platform onto some rocks and branches. Follow those around until you reach a ladder. Climb it. When you reach the top, you'll see your quarry.
Drop down and kill the Lion Guardian and you'll receive your prize — just don't forget to explore the rest of the fort for loot.
