Sledgehammer Games dropped its latest update for Call of Duty: Vanguard, this time focusing solely on multiplayer with plenty of weapon balancing changes and much-needed bug fixes.

With Season 2 Reloaded having just kicked off about a week ago, as well as with Vanguard multiplayer offering free access until April 13, it's no surprise that Sledgehammer is looking to keep things as sound as possible in-game. Here's a breakdown of the March 31 patch notes for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Here are the official changes Sledgehammer have now made to the Whitley, as well as to the Armaguerra 43's camo progression:

Vanguard March 31 Patch Notes

Whitley

  • .50 BMG 150 Round Boxes (Magazine) damage bonus decreased -32%

Armaguerra 43

  • Addressed an issue that prevented progression of challenges in the Mindgames camo category

Ultimately, the Whitley nerf was perhaps to be expected, considering players were claiming that they were able to two-shot kill from considerable range when using the Whitley with the .50 BMG 150 Round Boxes attachment.

Additionally, the Armaguerra 43 progression problem definitely needed to be addressed, as players on both Reddit and Twitter reported that they simply couldn't earn the Mindgames set of camos for the new SMG that was introduced in the Season 2 Reloaded update.
