Will The Callisto Protocol be on Nintendo Switch?

Striking Distance Studios

Striking Distance Studios' upcoming sci-fi horror The Callisto Protocol is set to launch on Dec. 2, but will it be on Nintendo Switch?

Built with thematic and gameplay similarities to EA's Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol is a new venture into the world of sci-fi survival horror. Players take on the role of Jacob Lee, a prisoner held at the Black Iron prison colony in the year 2320. The prison colony, located on Jupiter's moon Callisto, finds itself caught in the midst of an alien invasion releasing an array of horrors into the prison.

Lee must use all that's available to him, such as weapons, gear and abilities, in order to escape the colony and defend himself against the deadly threat.

With The Callisto Protocol just a few days from release, Nintendo players will be wondering if they're going to get a shot at this upcoming horror on Switch.

Is The Callisto Protocol Coming to Nintendo Switch?

At the time of writing, The Callisto Protocol will not be arriving on Nintendo Switch consoles. Striking Distance Studios have so far not announced plans to bring the survival horror game to the portable console.

This doesn't rule out a port completely. Many large, demanding titles have eventually made their way onto the Nintendo Switch, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, No Man's Sky, and plenty more. Whether The Callisto Protocol receives the same treatment remains to be seen.

The Callisto Protocol launches on Dec. 2, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
