Will There be a FIFA 22 Holiday 2021 Event?

Every holiday season in FIFA Ultimate Team, EA SPORTS has usually released a Holiday-themed event. The promos usually feature daily SBCs, new teams with player position changes, and more.

This year in FIFA 22 we have received the Fire and Ice VERSUS promotion, which saw twin sets of players added to the games with different stats to support different playstyles, such as a Christian Pulisic item with either five-star weak foot or five-star skill moves. The concept was solidly done by EA and well-received by most fans, however, some are still longing for that classic Holiday promotion that keeps them logging into FUT every day. Will we get that promotion this year?

Will There be a FIFA 22 Holiday 2021 Event?

According to leakers and some content creators, a Holiday event in FIFA 22 is still in the cards, and can be coming sooner than you think.

Named "Winter Wildcard" this promotion will carry out similar to FUT Freeze and FUTMAS of previous FIFA installments. FIFAUTeam reported on Twitter that the promotion will begin this Friday, Dec. 17, and will feature daily position-change player SBCs, promo pack lightning rounds, and a new Winter Wildcard team.

Players such as Neymar Jr. are already getting concept cards on Twitter of what they may look like, and what positions they may be featured in. If the leaks are true, some big cards will be coming very soon, and we may be in luck for a great Holiday in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

The active FUT VERSUS promotion ends on Friday at 1 p.m. EST, so that is likely when the next FIFA 22 promo will begin. We'll have to wait for a potential loading screen in the coming days to tease if we'll be getting Winter Wildcard after FUT VERSUS is over.
