Worlds 2022 Azir Skin Splash Art, Price, Release Date, How to Get
The Worlds 2022 Azir skin was revealed Sept. 8 as the official skin of this year's League of Legends World Championship.
Each year, Riot Games releases a commemorative skin for its League of Legends World Championship event. Each skin traditionally features a blue and grey theme reflecting the tournament's Summoner's Cup trophy. Champions to have been included in the past include Jarvan IV, Thresh, Shyvana, Zed and many more.
Here's everything you need to know about the Worlds 2022 Azir skin.
Worlds 2022 Azir Skin Splash Art
At the time of publication, the Worlds 2022 Azir splash art has yet to be released by Riot Games. However, some sneak peeks of the skin have been given by its preview trailer. In Azir's 20-second clip, we see that The Emperor of the Sands looks very robotic and futuristic, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Worlds 2022 Azir Skin Price
Up until 2016, Championship Skins were priced at 975 RP. Since then, the likes of Championship Ashe, Kha'Zix, Ryze and LeBlanc were all priced at 1,350 RP. It's expected that Azir's new skin will also be set at that higher price point as an Epic-tier skin.
Worlds 2022 Azir Skin Release Date
Worlds 2022 Azir is expected to arrive alongside the all-new Fright Night Skins in Patch 12.18, which is scheduled to hit live servers on Sept. 22, 2022. Perhaps the skin arrives later, but we'll have to wait for confirmation from Riot Games.
How to Get Worlds 2022 Azir
Worlds 2022 Azir will be available in the League of Legends shop once the skin hits live servers. Thankfully, if you miss the skin during that time, you could still earn it down the line from Hextech chests and with various Event Orbs.
Of course, this is a limited-time only skin, so it will only be available in the shop for a specific period.
