Zenless Zone Zero Coming to PlayStation 5

Genshin Impact became one of the most popular mobile games in 2023, preceding Candy Crush and surpassing Roblox. The RPG's world, content updates, and free access made it a hit worldwide.

MiHoYo, the developer of Genshin Impact, revealed their next game, Zenless Zone Zero, for the first time in May 2022. Then, the company released a trailer for the game during the Game Awards 2023. Players got a sneak peek of the colorful characters, fighting styles, cool weapons, and dynamic moves in miHoYo's urban fantasy RPG. The State of Play revealed the game's arrival to the PlayStation 5.

Zenless Zone Zero Coming to PlayStation 5

Unfortunately, there's no release date for the game. The trailer only showed that Zenless Zone Zero is "in development for PlayStation 5."

Zenless Zone Zero has had two closed beta tests for PC and iOS: one in August 2022 and another in November 2023. The game hasn't been fully released on any platforms yet, but it's expected to come out on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5.

What is Zenless Zone Zero About?

Zenless Zone Zero takes place in a post-apocalyptic environment called New Eridu. Portals, aka Hollows, started appearing everywhere, allowing gortesque creatures known as Ethereal to wander into the human world. Most of the human population has been wiped out by the beasts. The remaining people survive by extracting resources from the Hollows.

Players control Proxies who help others navigate the Hollows. They will encounter more Proxies who can become part of their party and combine character abilities to make unique combos.
